About the panellists:

Adrienne LaBelle

Adrienne LaBelle is the founder of Wavepool Sync, a sync licensing agency based on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh peoples, colonially known as Vancouver. Wavepool is dedicated to championing independent artists and helping them to build sustainable careers by representing their songs for sync licensing opportunities, helping to place their music in films, television, advertising, and beyond. Adrienne first got involved in the sync world via Mint Records, where they co-managed the label as well as the sync licensing department. During their time at Mint, they helped to secure placements for Mint artists in popular shows such as Yellowjackets and Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, as well as indie films Door Mouse and Infinity Pool, to name a few. Since moving on from Mint, Adrienne has built Wavepool, a new sync agency looking to grow and build lasting relationships with artists, composers, and music supervisors alike.

Amy Eligh

Amy Eligh began her career in Publishing at Casablanca Media / Red Brick Songs in the Copyright and Royalties department, before moving into Creative – where she successfully stationed herself for over a decade before moving to Arts & Crafts Music.

Within her role as Director of Publishing & Licensing, Amy pitches large-scale catalogue of songs for film, trailers, advertising, video games, and TV (US & Canada) as well as oversees the day to day within the department. In addition to pitching, Amy organizes showcases for clients / songwriters with TV networks, music supervisors, and advertisers. She also develops new writers, arranges co-writing sessions, coordinates and hosts song-writing camps, and scouts for talent.

At Arts & Crafts Music, Amy works with Broken Social Scene, Dear Rouge, Old Man Saxon, Marcus Paquin, Dan Mangan, bülow, Cary Brothers, Sarah MacDougall, David Vertesi, Jordan Klassen, Sylo and many more. Amy is also on the Board of Directors for Music Publishers Canada and the Chair of the FACTOR Board.

Claudia Campos Jugo

Claudia Campos Jugo is an Account Executive at DISCO.ac, where she helps music teams streamline their workflows and stay in sync. With a background in artist management and deep expertise in metadata, she specializes in bridging the gap between creative and operational teams. Claudia is passionate about helping users unlock the full potential of DISCO to connect siloed processes and keep projects moving smoothly. She's excited to bring her perspective to "An Intro to Sync" and demystify the tools that power modern music collaboration.

Natasha Duprey

Natasha Duprey is an award-winning music supervisor based in Vancouver who has supervised thousands of hours of episodic television including the series The L Word, Kids In the Hall, Snowpiercer, ConDnuum, The Terror and Let The Right One In as well as feature films like the Bobby Farrelly-directed Champions starring Woody Harrelson and documentaries including the 4-part EPIX series PUNK! and the Emmy Award winning Boys State and Girls State.

Natasha recently completed a trio of epic horror films - the smash hit Nicholas Cage film Longlegs (the highest grossing independent film of 2024), the A-24 feature HereDc starring Hugh Grant (who garnered BAFTA and Golden Globe nods) and The Monkey (based on a short story by Stephen King who called it “batshit crazy”). She is currently working on the third seasons of the series Allegiance and My Life With The Walter Boys (Netflix #1 global series) and the new Oz Perkins films Keeper and The Young People and much more.

Natasha is the founding Vice President and current board member of the Guild of Music Supervisors Canada.

Carmen Braden

Carmen Braden is a creator and performer of new, beautiful and sometimes weird music. She brings her songwriting depths to the live stage in dynamic, chamber-pop shows with her full band. Drawing deeply from her latest album “A Hard Light”, Carmen gently shifts the focus away from genre-bound expectations to craft a journeying arc with moments of 90’s electro-pop, folk, jazz and country. Praised for her “charismatic vocal performances, engaging lyrics and magnetic beats” (FV Music Blog UK) and compared to artists as wide-ranging as Joni Mitchell and Radiohead, Carmen’s music and her groove-rooted band makes space for shining textures and crystalline melodies. Her lyric-driven writing delves into the beauty and struggles of the everyday: reflecting parenthood, relationships, and the female body with joy, stark realness, and undercurrents of quirky humour.

Raised in Yellowknife, and now raising her own young family in the ‘knife, ya she likes it up north. Records ice sometimes, or ravens. Carmen has created lots of music for humans in groups like choirs, soloists and small classical cover bands (aka chamber music ensembles like string quartets), and the occasional orchestra. The occasional foray into music for film, theatre and dance. She’s got 4 super-diferent-sounding albums out in the world made with longtime producer Mark Adam and the latest one is so deadly: “A Hard Light” is all singer songwriter craft + studio crazy gorgeous. Some kind folks have said her songwriting is “quirky and clever…à la Joni Mitchell” (The WholeNote). That was sure nice of them to say!
