In this online performance, Folk On The Rocks welcomes back 2019 festival favourite, Ginalina. With heartwarming tracks about friendship, nature and the importance of kindness, Ginalina is a musician that writes and sings for kids, and parents. With her acoustic guitar, and ukulele by her side, Ginalina is a feel-good performance where you can't help but sing along. Tracks like "I'm Brave" and "Small is Mighty" are the kinds of music we need for our first day of kindergarten, or the first day of the rest of our life.

Based in BC, Ginalina has been a warm addition to festival lineups across Canada. She's a multiple Juno, and Canadian Folk Awards nominee, with four studio albums under her belt, and a book that's hitting shelves soon. Join us in celebrating kindness and community with Ginalina.

Opening this performance is Yellowknife's own, Miranda Currie. Miranda Currie writes her music for the North's littlest adventurers, where she uses themes from the nature around here and her personal story of overcoming obstacles.

Whether you've seen her on the Folk On The Rocks stage, or in the Snowcastle, Miranda Currie's music makes our feet and hearts dance together.
