Call for Proposals: Economic Impact Assessment for Folk On The Rocks
Folk On The Rocks (FOTR) is seeking proposals from qualified consultants or firms to develop a comprehensive Economic Impact Assessment proposal for our festival and year-round programming.
Over the past decade, FOTR has experienced significant growth in programming, organizational structure, and community engagement. This assessment will help us better understand and communicate our economic, social, and cultural contributions to Yellowknife and the Northwest Territories. The selected proposal will be used to apply for funding from government, corporate, and grant-making organizations to support the full assessment.
We are looking for a partner who can outline a clear methodology, scope, budget, and anticipated outcomes, including:
Direct, indirect, and induced economic impacts
Social and cultural value contributions
Stakeholder engagement and consultation
Clear, accessible reporting with actionable insights
We encourage applications from diverse and underrepresented communities, including Indigenous consultants, people of colour, people with disabilities, and 2SLGBTQ+ individuals and organizations.
Submission Deadline: March 2, 2026, at 5:00 PM MST
