MOOCH

MOOCH is a heavy psychedelic rock trio based in both Montreal and Yellowknife, Canada, known for blending down-tuned desert rock with the energy of 90s grunge and the expansive sounds of 70s psychedelia. The band features three lead vocalists and multi-instrumentalists Ben Cornel, Julian Iac, and Alex Segreti, whose layered vocal harmonies add depth to their rich, multifaceted sound. Their style resonates with fans of both classic acts like The Doors and contemporary influences such as Kikagaku Moyo and Queens of the Stone Age.

Since 2020, MOOCH has released three full-length albums, HOUNDS, Wherever It Goes and Visions, along with their latest The Cabin EP. Their prolific output has been paired with extensive touring across Canada, covering regions from Nova Scotia to the Northwest Territories. Now signed with Black Throne Productions, a key player in Canada's psych rock scene, the band is gearing up to release new music in Summer 2025.

MOOCH delivers a timeless expression of rock n' roll music. Whether showered in a psychedelic light show, cradled by a curtain of fog, or out in the open air, the music is delivered through high-energy performances. Summer 2023 brought the band to Yellowknife to play Folk on the Rocks (“Small Festival of the Year" award at the 2023 Canadian Live Music Awards), and to headlinethe unique festival Float on the Rocks, a floating show in the middle of Great Slave Lake. MOOCH was featured as the first headliner of Interland Events’ Purple Room Concert Series and headlined the outdoor stage at Black Throne Productions inaugural La Rhune Mountain Doomfest in Stoney Creek Ontario. MOOCH has shared the stage with the likes of Yawning Man, Truckfighters, 1000 MODS, Blackwater Holylight, We Are the Asteroid, Status/Non-Status, Biblical and many other prominent artists in the rock genre.
