Gonia is an established band that has spent nearly two decades shaping a distinctive “K-Jazz” identity, widely recognized as more than a fusion, but a new genre with a clear and original sound. Rooted in the simple yet musically rich rhythmic foundation of Korean traditional music, they create polished, high-quality performances that feel both grounded and fresh.

Update - June 5th:

Last week, Gonia’s vocalist sustained an injury and underwent surgery. While her recovery is progressing, Gonia made the difficult decision to withdraw from their festival run this summer.

Let’s send Gonia and their vocalist lots of love and wish them a swift road to recovery.

We are sad they can’t join us this summer, but we are looking forward to welcoming them with open arms next year.
