    Additionally, you can also arrive onsite Saturday and Sunday and be assigned as a floater.

    Get your Festival pass for free when you volunteer!

    With 17 volunteer categories to choose from there is something for everyone. Most volunteer jobs require 10-15 hours in order to obtain a weekend pass.

    1. Merchandise: The best-looking crew! Help FOTR and our artists sell their duds in the merch booth.

    2. Children’s Area: Hang out with the littlest folkers while assisting them with fun crafts and activities, and watching the family shows!

    3. Ground Transportation: The official transportation to the artists. Must have a valid drivers license.

    4. Beer Garden: Keep the party going by slinging beers at FOTR’s loudest and rowdiest stage.

    5. Finance: Number crunchers needed!

    6. Hospitality: Have what it takes to take care of the VIP’s?

    7. Rovers: Drive quads, deliver gear and get dirty!

    8. Security: Keep your fellow Folkers safe while taking in performances.

    9. Subarctic Safety Squad: Be the official guardians of safe space and bystander intervention through out the Festival.         **If you are interested in joining the sub-arctic safety squad, please email Nancy at to inquire.

    10. Stage Management/Crew: Keep our stages running on schedule and assist the artists with their set up needs.

    11. Ticket Sales: Be the first to greet Festival-goers!

    12. Parking: Direct traffic and keep our roads safe.

    13. Volunteer Headquarters: The brains of the entire operation.

    14. Information/Lost and Found/Accessibility: Help festival-goers get the information they need to have fun and stay safe, and help those who need assistance getting around the grounds!

    15. Site Crew: Love to paint, build, and spend time outdoors? Get your ticket before the Festival begins by joining one of our most creative crews! -

    16. Production/Maintenance: Prepare the site for the Festival and ensure that it keeps looking good all weekend and help with tear down post-Festival.

    17. Environment: Work with Ecology North to make sure the FOTR site stays naturally beautiful
